For over two decades, Dr. Schatz has remained on the leading edge of technology in the field of eye care. He has developed Contact Lens Associates into one of the largest private contact
lens practices in the country. Dr. Schatz attained his Doctorate of Optometry degree in 1977 from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in both
Physiological Optics and in Psychology. Dr. Schatz has been frequently featured in the local media on the subject of eyecare and Orthokeratology. He is licensed to practice optometry in five states and the District of
Columbia. Dr. Schatz is also an adjunct faculty member of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, and has served as an FDA clinical investigator for multiple contact lens manufacturers. In addition, he is
currently a Clinical Examiner for the National Board of Examiners in Optometry, and acts as a Consultant for several software developers for design of Eyecare Software. Dr. Schatz also practices as an affiliate doctor
at TLC, The Laser Center.
